Product Description

We are a leading manufacturer, exporter & supplier of our widely demanded Fiberglass Welding Blankets that are extensively used to cover and protect materials from welding splatters. This blanket is manufactured using premium grade raw material, which is sourced from the vendors. Further, it is tested by our quality controllers to ensure quality and flawlessness. Our offered Fiberglass Welding Blankets can be customized as per the requirements made by the clients.

Features:

  • Flexible and resilient
  • Provide excellent thermal insulation
  • Cavity insulation for dry wall partition

Applications:

Welding blankets provide effective protection from spatter, sparks and slags, generated by welding or metal-cutting works. They are applicable widely in many industries, such as construction, shipbuilding, automotive parts, oil plants and chemicals.

Description:

We keep up with various treatments and sizes of welding blankets, so as to meet any special application. Also, we offer installation with eyelets, clips or Velcro for the blankets. By this we meet your individual needs.

Fabrics Selection:

There is specific type of welding application, and it needs a particular fabric. Guidance of fabrics selection is as follows:

  • Light-duty welding blankets (1302 to 1802): general purpose welding, minimal spatter & light sparks.
  • Medium-duty welding blankets (2002 to 3002): heavy welding, spatter, sparked & light slag.
  • Heavy-duty welding blankets (3202 to 5002): heavy sparks, slag, spatter, molten metal possibility.

Difference between coated and un-coated welding blankets:

Coated fabrics offer better abrasion as well as burn through resistance. Stiffer in nature, they allow for spatter and slag to roll off easily. Un-coated fabrics are very pliable, and are easier to drape over as well as wrap around the objects.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Which fire blanket is ideal for use during welding?

Ans - Flame retardant fibreglass fabric, which has the properties of isolation, resistance to high temperatures, and displacement, is the most frequently used material for welding blankets.

2. Are fire and welding blankets interchangeable?

Ans - The sole purpose of a welding blanket is to prevent welding sparks. A fire blanket used to put out a fire is typically constructed of 0.4 mm thick Fibreglass fabric and is white in colour. used to put out small flames at home or at work.

3. What function does a welding blanket serve?

Ans - A welding blanket is a piece of safety gear used to shield both the welder and the welding process from harm. Unexpanded vermiculite and inorganic fibrous material with high thermal conductivity make up the usual layer of a welding blanket.

4. How do I pick a blanket for welding?

Ans - Choose a welding blanket with high-quality finishing, the appropriate material, and a certain level of heat resistance rather than a cheap one. Additionally, check that the blanket has grommets so you may hang it if necessary.
